I was happy to get the first meet in. We have over 50 sophomores and freshmen on the team, and I was excited to see what they could do. Overall, the coaches were very pleased.

Eric Perkins broke the long jump record that was set by Joe Roberti in 1967 (21-5). I am very proud of him.
