Ryan and I have been there since our freshman year. Every year we were in the championship game. Tonight was a big one, not only for us but the team.

Now, as seniors, we're so used to playing with each other, we know what each other is going to do. We know our moves. That helps on the court when we look for each other.

Out of the three times we played them, this time was the most likely win for us. If we had just played four solid quarters, the outcome of the game would have been different.

We just play every game as if it's our last. We leave our hearts on the floor.

We knew PV was a good team. They're always going to keep battling hard. We kept our heads in the game. We kept focusing on defense and foul shots. That pretty much took over for us.

I never liked playing Basil because Ryan was always one of the better girls on the team. It was a friendly rivalry. I knew she was good. But it wasn't until the Vipers that I got to know her and we became friends.

We took a lot of practice shooting, trying to stay in game mode. But it doesn't matter how hard you practice. It's not the same as game tempo.
