It was really great to get help from the Coast Guard. Saturday, the ships and tugs were kept down to three knots. Sunday, they shut down ship traffic altogether so the wave action would not flood the houses on Puget Island. That doesn't happen too often. Everybody has been very cooperative.

Basically, we're back to square one.

Most people are staying home to protect their property. We're just waiting for the water to recede.

We're not having any problems. The weather is nice, and I think that's helping people cope.
