I was hopeful they would agree to a name change. I'm sure there will be lots of alumnae who are disappointed.

The name Douglass College for alumnae evokes awe-inspiring pride, a rich history and connectedness from one generation to the next. Diminishing Douglass College's name sends a disingenuous message about our commitment to women's education.
