You don't wax someone who went to a tanning salon beforehand or had been in the sun. Usually we can tell because the skin will be too tender. Waxing will pull the skin off.

I always talk first to see if a person has had treatment. I tell them it will sting. I apply pressure where I waxed, and it stops nerves from reacting. It calms the nerves down.
