We lost three seniors from last year. Two seniors this year decided not to play and we lost a transfer. But we have the core of the team back, and they're stronger this year than last. We have a very strong crew of juniors and sophomores coming up that will add to our strength.

Last year I was a neophyte. It was my first year as coach and I really didn't know how good the team was. This year's team is stronger than last. The championship, really, is ours to lose. We have our sights set high.

The day has worked out pretty well. We have to watch a few little things like tyre wear, but we're doing pretty well.

There are so many players on my team that won't make the headlines that are awesome. They're so good they sometimes go unnoticed.

I think to earn the right to drive these sorts of cars is a sensible move.
