This is a very emotional time and sets the stage for the importance of each participant's contribution. A festive atmosphere always develops around the track area when the survivors make the first celebration lap to open up the Relay.

In 2004, Relay had 61 teams and raised $150,000. Organizers are very excited about this year's participation growth and community support and are very confident that the event will reach the goal.
