We played well enough to win. The bounces just didn't go our way.

The game opened up after that. It got the kids' confidence up and we buried our chances to put the game away.

The best thing about this team is how the new kids and the guys who've been here get along. In all my years of coaching and playing, I've never seen a team that loves to play together more than this one. I can't ask for any more.

We converted all our grade-A scoring chances. That was the difference. The kids were seeing the net. I hope that continues.

We know it's a big task. You have to go through the Southern teams. We just want to say that we're a good Northern team, give us a chance. The kids want to play in Division I.

I don't think we played our best game of the year, but we found a way to win. When it counted, we were able to get the big goal.
