It's going to be important for kids and parents that really liked the book to also really like the movie. That's what going to bring return audiences through Christmas and extend its run into 2002.

People really need to show up when (the film they're demanding to see) does show up.

This year there has been a bit of a slowdown, ... In 2004, 19 so-called scary movies generated just over a billion dollars. This year, we've had 20 of these movies generate $580 million.

You can over-hype a movie, but I don't think you can over-hype Harry Potter. I think this movie is so highly anticipated it deserves hype ... I think it behooves Warner Bros. to get the word out any way they can because they've got to bet big in the marketing to win big at the box office.

Things are looking much better than 2005, with momentum moving into this summer. This time last year we were heading into what really ended up being quite a slump — it was the worst summer in many, many years.
