We really spend time together on days off. We share the same interests and beliefs.

I know that's something we're certainly going to focus heavily on this week. What exactly he's going to do to stress it, I don't know, but I know for certain he's going to do that. The first couple of preseason games we didn't have as many penalties, but unfortunately we regressed.

We improved on our passing game in the preseason from last year. I think if we can get those big plays without turning the ball over, then I think we're going to be successful as a team, and offensively.

I'm well aware of the fact that [Brunell] wants to play, ... And as great of a guy as he is and as great of a friend as he is, I hate that he's not getting to. But at the same time I want to play and do a good job here. That's something that doesn't come between us. And I think that's just the measure of our friendship.

We've still got of lot of work to do. But it's good to get home and get back in a routine.

You don't go in there and say, 'Hey we just want to get out of here without any injuries,' ... You want to go out there and be effective and run our game plan. But at the same time it's difficult to get into a groove.

The confidence factor is certainly higher this year.

If we can do what we did tonight without the turnovers, then we'd score a lot of points, ... And I think it's a successful night for all of us. But those turnovers killed us. It negates really what we did.

[On the first play of a seven-on-seven drill, linebacker Ray Lewis intercepted a Ramsey pass intended for H-back Chris Cooley near the right sideline. The play brought a roar from the crowd and a grimace from Ramsey.] I missed some throws early that were pretty routine throws, ... but I felt like after that we did a little bit better.
