We've been lucky for the past 30 years. So many more issues could have arisen. This ordinance will make all our jobs a lot easier.
If this is the case, then we as a school system need to talk with the developer to see about their willingness to assist us (with potential donations) because of impacts by their community.

There's no way we can buy 60-plus portables. We can't build enough schools in a short period of time. I don't know what else we can do but lobby the legislators.
The public doesn't want to be locked out, but in time, they will understand and get used to being able to get into the building through certain entrances.

We had 7- and 8-year-olds there all day alone. Now a child under the age of 12 has to be with an adult. We just wanted parents to take more responsibility.

I think it's very important that we support this request. Not too many disasters happen in this country.
