I'm adjusting to seeing more off-speed pitches, more inside and outside, nothing down the middle. I just needed to get away from waiting for my pitch and hit what they're giving me.

It's definitely a different mentality than last year with all of the big hitters we had. We have a lot more speed this year than last year. It was good to see that we're starting to come through.

He made due with what he had. When it came down to it, he got it done when we needed it and that's all that matters.

I've played two sports my whole life. I don't know what I'd do playing only one. I need to keep myself busy. I definitely need something to do.

Not having the big hitters we had last year, we have to take advantage of as many errors as we can, all the small-ball opportunities we get. We did a good job of that. We're gradually getting better at it as we move through the season.
