A skirmish in the box and it's a situation where anything can happen. For such a non-definitive play where the ball doesn't even touch the ground. It's a difficult call. One person's goal is another person's clearance.
Our goal is to have Edie just save one, because we know we're going to make ours.
We were always a step behind or a step late.
That's a seasoned program. They've been in these games before.
We weren't surprised that they were a well-coached team and skilled. Certainly in the first half, especially the first 20 minutes, we were awestruck.
We didn't create a lot of chances, but we created a lot of good scoring chances. And then we did a good job of putting them away.
I thought we really had the better of the play for the entire game.
I felt that I had the exact angle as the referee. Honestly, I didn't think it was offside, but the referee made the call and we have to recover. It was crazy because both teams thought it was a goal.
