I don't think we're seeing the real Rickie right now, ... There are some things that we haven't been able to work on a lot because his thumb has been bothering him a bit, but you can see that he is going to be a special player.

He never got settled in. He couldn't find a groove. He never got going.

This was not a difficult decision for us to make.

In my mind, he's an absolute lock, ... I don't even need to see any numbers. He's in today. He's in yesterday. He's in three months ago. If you had asked me five years ago, I'd have told you he was in.

What's wrong with Bill Hall?

This is our little five-game World Series right now. We're right there; we've definitely got something to shoot for.

We did have champagne in Pittsburgh that we were going to break open, not for a champagne party but for a toast, ... We were going to have a champagne toast to put losing seasons behind us and look at the winning seasons ahead of us. We didn't pop it open because we didn't win another game.

Much more well-rounded as a result of the trade.

I'm suffering now so I won't have to suffer later.
