I guess it's just never occurred to me that there'd be any opposition to it. I'm 44 years old, and I've never been a part of any segregation or race problems or whatever.

I'm not sure what people will try to hit me on, but I will stand on the record that I have built while serving the people who elected me. I will continue to do what I have always done - to work hard to make this the best possible place to live.
