They were on the podium and one second off the school record. The boys ended up 10th (as a team) and the girls were eighth. This is the first year we've had them both finish in the top 10.

We had a pretty good day. We have a few others that might get there. We'll just have to wait and see what comes up.

That's what we can realistically look at. I know there are going to be some tight races.

This was the final meet together for our entire team. It caps off the season with a nice day.

We only had one swim that wasn't a best time.

There were a couple of surprises we knew would be close. I think the team swam consistently pretty well throughout the day. It was exciting seeing some of those people just coming up getting out.

We only had one off swim, everything else was a PR or season-best swim for us. It was a good meet for us.

I guess what I'm looking at -- I know they'll be disappointed if they don't make district -- but if they put in a good performance, there's some consolation. The district meet is the icing on the cake. It's part of the payoff.

I believe so, we're in the taper phase. The proof will be in the times at the meet. There's always a little bit of uncertainty in that. You basically work them hard and rest them out.
