He's one of the top two or three in the state in the freestyle and in the top five or six in the butterfly. It will be a real dogfight at the state and he will be right in the middle of it.

He moved up about three or four spots. He was seeded like six coming in, so it was a pretty exciting finish.

They all did really well. It's the first time any South swimmers have been on the podium to receive awards so that's very exciting for us.

Laura really did well and it's a good way for her to end her senior year. She had a lot of injury problems and was really not able to practice a whole lot. It was nice to see her overcome that and have a strong state.
