Every one of the 15 players we brought here deserved a place and it was a very tough decision to make.

We got the ball back. We didn't panic, and our young players looked after the ball and then our senior boys finished it off.

Preparations could not have gone better, I could not be happier with the squad and my final decision could not have been more difficult.

Day three is when you have to perform at your peak.

This really is a crucial tournament for us and all the boys are fired up.

We played well when we could get the ball but just didn't get enough ball in hand.

We're very disappointed but that is sevens rugby: it's core skills under the microscope. New Zealand were worthy winners.

I truly believe that this squad includes some of the future stars of England rugby and this experience will be a vital part of their player development.
