There's no good news for the consumer.

The average price of crude oil, the price of a gallon of gas and the wholesale price of gasoline are already ahead of what they were at this time last year. And we're not hitting the heavy driving season until mid-April.

But that may or may not happen in next week or two or three. I don't see much of a change in the immediate future.

We're down 4 to 6 percent in the Gulf.

It's not a question of if, but when (the price will drop).

That's pretty much the situation throughout the country.

That's what no one's talking about.
