He is a happier horse this year.

That's the first time he's jumped like that since the race before he went to Cheltenham for the first time. We've had no troubles with him whatsoever this year, and he proved that with his jumping today. Often the best horse in the race doesn't win the Gold Cup, but he certainly has the potential to do so.

He was very full of himself that day, but it was good to see. I knew he was healthy in himself.

He did a piece of work last week and went very well. Paul Carberry will ride him.

I have to believe people now when they say that he just doesn't like it here. I've just spoken to his owners and said maybe we shouldn't bring him back here any more.

He's in good form and, touch wood, we've had no problems as all his muscular problems are now behind him.

That's the best he's jumped since before he ran at Cheltenham the first time.

He's in great shape. He still walks a bit stiff when he first comes out of the box but it eases at once and we really have not had any problems with his back this season.

It was just a human error. It happened and it will happen again.
