Only the dominant males are allowed to occupy the center of the lek [booming ground]. That's where the females will come. This is such a unique opportunity. Here is a public area where anyone can come and be virtually guaranteed of seeing wild prairie chickens on a spring booming ground. We're very fortunate to have this.

We're kind of just starting, as far as the boycott of BU goes. But you can definitely tell we're getting somewhere. We're putting a lot of pressure on BU and creating a whole lot of stir in the media. Hopefully, it will force the decision makers to be accountable for their actions.
