People got to get going. We're concerned that people are not getting their taxes in.
That's inflammatory, it's inaccurate and it's not the spirit the department works in. We do not work in a climate of coercion.
In total, there are 203 municipalities in the state of Wisconsin that have instituted some sort of room tax. We expect that number to continue to grow.
We're now in the crunch time. If you paper file and you're expecting a refund, it's going to be anywhere from 3 to 5 to 8 weeks. It's a lot longer.
We are very happy with that rate.
It's not a big deal if you're getting a refund. But if you owe money and don't pay on time, you'll end up paying extra. Fees and interest start accumulating.
