Coach said as long as I wasn't throwing crazy he'd leave me in. I know I was off early on, but I got better and felt stronger. It was my first start of the season, it was cold and I could never figure out the umpire's strike zone.

Our goal was to get to the championship game and win and we're partly there. We're still hungry. We're won't be satisfied until we win the championship.

I usually throw between 120 and 130 pitches in a game. My fastball did me in today as I couldn't hit my spot and they were on top of it.

This is definitely the best win of my career -- in anything. This was a big game. Griffith is ranked in the top 10 in the state. We knew they could hit, they could pitch, and they were good. We came out early on and got on them.
