We had freshmen competing at the varsity level. We weren't concerned with wins and losses.

Playing four times was too much.

The first couple weeks we're experimenting (with the lineup). We'll lock in the doubles partners later.

He located his pitches better and got the ball down. He got a little bit frustrated, too. When he came out the next inning he settled down and his off-speed stuff was working a lot better from then on.

With so many kids and only two coaches there's only so much we can do.
