The girls doing their job made our coaching decision a good one tonight.
This group of kids have a strong mental game. With our bats as hot as they are right now, there wasn't any doubt that we could bounce back when they tied the game.
We've got a good situation with our pitchers. When McMinn got those runs we had a few defensive breakdowns that shouldn't have happened. Kara should have never been in that situation. But Shelley came in and closed them out with no real trouble and that's what we wanted.
