We've put Luke on hold. There's a couple of small things we haven't reached agreement on, so we've left the door open.

In any offence, you've got to have options and we've certainly identified some other people who'd be excellent as well.

Importantly, we're taking Mark to the Tigers semi-final game on Tuesday to show him the current standard of Australian basketball.

We know Luke's excited about the prospect of playing with the Dragons, and it's really just a matter of coming to an agreement that's acceptable to both parties.

We're looking for the best coach possible.

We've taken on board feedback from the basketball public suggesting they'd like us to get a coach with experience in either Europe or the American college system.

The Dragons understand that Luke's committed to a career in the NBA and would be delighted if he were to use our club as a stepping-stone to the NBA.

Whilst the Dragons remain committed to getting the best coach we can, it's important to state that Mark's not been offered a role, nor has he accepted a position with the club at this stage.

We'd like to move on as soon as we can. It just gets back to how quickly we can do things.
