We flat-out got outplayed. They wanted it, obviously, more than we did. We're 8-1, not 1-8, so it's nothing to be hanging our heads low about. We know we're a better team than we (showed). You have to look ahead. You can't sit here and cry about it.

This year's team is self-motivated. I think there's enough guys on this team that are self-motivated to get those that are not, motivated.

Blocking to me now is just as good as making a catch and running a guy over and scoring a touchdown. After my sophomore year, I got a different tight ends coach and he really just made me realize that if I wanted to be anywhere, I would have to put my face in someone's helmet.

When Drew Olson talks, we listen.

Instead of making us fit their program, it seems like they've been doing things to make the program fit us. That's a big difference.

The game has slowed down for Drew. As long as he keeps doing what he's doing, I don't see us losing anytime soon.

If I have to compare myself to anybody, it would probably be a little mix between Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates just because of our backgrounds with basketball and everything. I'm able to position myself to catch balls in the air that some tight ends maybe couldn't.

Tab is like my big brother. He calls me sometimes and lets me know how he's doing and asks me how I'm doing. Just try to give me a little advice if he can.

Blocking, to me now, is just as good as making a catch and scoring a touchdown or running a guy over.
