We tell our kids if we can keep it in the park, we'll be OK. They're just so good that you just never know. Any of their kids can hit it out of there.

Our plan was to get as tough of schedule as we could in the spring, so that way when we played our conference we'd be prepared, and I think we have been able to do that.

In the second game, our kids just came out fired up and knew this team was a team we could beat, and we'd beat them before.

Getting down 10-0 right away is tough. Our pitcher, Leslie (Higley), she hung in there and came out and shut them out the rest of the way. That's a huge positive for her to be able to do that, we could've been down 15-0, 20-0 by the fifth inning.

It's not a very good feeling, obviously, losing another one-run game. Especially a conference game like that where we know we can beat them.
