They're not making any more Baca ranches. It has incredible biodiversity. The previous owners did practice good land stewardship. It's as pristine an area as I've ever seen.

The NPCA is very pleased that the democratic process is actually working. The American people asked to have the Baca set aside as part of the country's wild legacy and Congress did just that.
