We've been striving for it since last year. We didn't know what was going to happen because we lost some seniors, but last week was the most crucial week. A lot of girls gained new skills, and if they didn't get these new skills, we would have not made it to state.

Being the captain, they definitely see me as a leader and I think that they are looking to me for guidance. We just want to go and have the experience. It doesn't matter what place, getting there is the best part.
