We have a win under our belt now and we're going to start thinking about Point. It doesn't take much motivation to get ready for a game like that.

With both quarterbacks, their vision is exceptional right now. They're getting the ball to the guy who's open. We'll see how it all plays out.

It looks like it might be his ACL and it doesn't look good.

We haven't made any final decision on it and it's a very tough one. I think it's more of a preoccupation with the media and the fans more than anybody, because we're going to end up looking at both of them for quite a while. It could go into the (Howard Payne) game (Sept. 10).

They're a very good team and so are we. This is going to be a real exciting week for La Crosse football. We've been in these kinds of games a lot and we seem to respond well.

We came of age today. We were able to put points on the board and our defense played very well, especially in the second half.

This is going to be a heck of a challenge. We just want to play well and start to find out what kind of team we have.

You're always looking for the guy who can capture your heart as a player and who can capture the team's heart. That's as important as the guy who can make decisions. I'd say it's still pretty close. I don't want to reveal my hand yet.

They know all the positions and that makes it harder for teams to know who's lining up where.
