Absolutely not. If you look at Brian's record as a GM, it's filled with superlative performances. He had an excellent scouting career, and his 9-year-body of work here is a record of consistent achievement. That's the way we view him.

Bonds is making good progress and returning this season is possible. There is no reason why he won't be on the team in 2006.

He'll be our GM well into the foreseeable future, as long as he wants to continue for us. We're signed on with him, and we certainly hope and believe he is signed on with us.

Everybody is excited to see him on the field in a uniform in San Francisco. We all saw a guy that's at some point going to come back and play baseball for us.

There's an electricity and a buzz. When he does return, there will be a sense of normalcy here.

This is the first of many years of a strong commitment to creating events for all members of the Hispanic community. What we've found is that actually bringing the community to the ballpark brings a lot of joy and pride within the Hispanic community.
