This sport is just such an individual sport that you don't see people hanging out together, training together. And I think one of the advantages for Tracy and I is we have very, very similar physiology. We can use that to our advantage and help each other go faster and stronger.

I was one of the later starters and the snow definitely slowed from the start to the finish. But the track didn't get slushy and deep. I just started the race too conservatively.

I think a lot of it had to do with pressure. A lot of those girls are under severe pressure from their coaches and their family and their supporters, and when it comes to the Olympics, a lot of people just get nervous and it just affects them.

Definitely, it's very inspiring. He was within grasp of a medal. It should motivate us for tomorrow.
