"Kory Gerren Sheets" is an United States/American running back for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Purdue Boilermakers football/Purdue.

Sheets has also been a member of the Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers of the NFL and the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League

Sheets holds the professional football (NFL and Canadian Football League/CFL) number two spot for the most yards gained in a championship game, second only to Timmy Smith who gained List of Super Bowl records#Rushing/204 yards in Super Bowl XXII on January 31, 1988. Sheets gained 197 yards in the 101st Grey Cup surpassing the previous professional football number two spot of 191 yards by NFL NFL Hall of Fame/Hall of Famer, Marcus Allen in Super Bowl XVIII on January 22, 1984.

As a result of this achievement as well as scoring two touchdowns in the championship game, Sheets was named 2013 Grey Cup Grey Cup Most Valuable Player/Most Valuable Player (MVP).

When I was younger I used to do gymnastics and flip a lot, so that helped me with my balance.

I tell them (to give me the ball) all the time, but I keep it to a minimum to not sound so greedy. I'm a team player. I always think I can do the job, but in some cases somebody else might be better for the job.

It gives us a chance to get out to the perimeter and get to those smaller guys. It's a lot easier to score out there because you've got one or two guys to beat and it's a foot race.
