Here we are at week nine and still in the playoff hunt. We haven't been there before. They (Herrin) are a heck of a football team.

So this is a great opportunity for us to experience it. And to take part in what's going on with our country.

A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

I think it will probably be the kind of atmosphere that you hope for as a coach. This is what it's all about. It will be a great game.

We haven't gotten clearance to play him (Johnson) yet, but he feels better. There is little to no swelling in his leg. We are optimistic that we'll have him back in a few weeks.
