I know that whenever we play a Big 12 opponent, we need to take advantage of it and we know they hit the ball pretty well. We also know they have given up some runs. It's a rivalry, we have a lot of St. Louis kids and so we want to go out there and show well. We will be ready to go on Wednesday.

I feel it gives us a little bit of a jump.

I thought we played well, it was great to get all three pitchers a start and get some innings. Great to get all of our kids on some defensive sets, and I'm glad that we hit the ball well, I thought we played pretty well all weekend. It was nice to get some games.

She hasn't been happy her last two outings, she wasn't particularly happy with herself against Michigan State and/or UIC. I thought she really stepped it up. I probably cost her a no-hitter, I went back with a curve ball and probably should have thrown a change-up, I was just trying to get the game over with and that was my fault.

It's nice, but its more on those guys than it is on me. They are such a big part of it. I have had the pleasure to coach a lot of great kids and I like my team. I like what I'm doing and I like my team and I don't know how many coaches around here can say that, but I like these kids.

The memories I'm most fond of, is not just how one program has risen, but how so many have risen.

I think we're built on speed and power. Offensively, I'm as excited about this team as I've been about any team. We feel like we have speed and power, which would be a great thing.

I thought we did a great job offensively to start out the game and set a tone early. I thought we did that and came up with some big hits. Cassidy threw a great game today, got into a little bit of a lull in the middle but came out and closed it out in the sixth to eight-run rule it. I was really proud of the kids today.

I'm very, very happy for him. I just don't want to see him go because of the consistency. This will take me a while to get used to.
