As a company, who would you rather lose market share to, yourself or someone else? It is the competitive nature of the business that you watch your competition goes. You either lead or follow, but you always want a share of the market.

We'd like to do more of these instead of ships. If people go back to these over time, they'll see them develop.

Companies that have disappeared through going out of business or bankruptcy or gobbled up by others, most of them haven't had a reason for being. They are mediocre stores. And when the market gets 'over-stored' companies that have no reason for being will go away.
