"Karen Newman" is a professional singer based in Detroit, Michigan. Newman was raised in the Michigan towns of Rochester, Michigan/Rochester and Grand Blanc, Michigan/Grand Blanc, and studied music at Oakland University. She is best known for being "the voice" of the National Hockey League's Detroit Red Wings, regularly performing the national anthem before the team's home games at Joe Louis Arena. She has toured with Bob Seger and Kid Rock.

Newman has four previously released compact disc/CDs and is currently working on her fifth (Jan 2010). The EP for this album has been released Titled "How Far We've Come", and is available through CDBABY.com and electronically through iTunes. The single "Christmas Eve on Woodward Avenue" has become a traditional favorite for many Detroit radio stations, and has been included for many years as part of the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade.

Karen is also very well known for her annual Christmas concerts which began with the regional hit "Christmas Eve on Woodward Avenue", a tribute to her hometown Detroit. Karen's CD releases include a complete Christmas and Holiday Album.

Karen has done numerous television commercials for local and national companies and has served as celebrity spokesperson for "Diabetes Care Education Association", and works with numerous local charities in and around Michigan.

They are to interview someone at the job site, so that they have a realistic view of what is required to be in that line of work. Many have come back and said that they had no idea about certain jobs, and they would be sure to go to college because they knew they didn't want to work at some jobs that don't require that education.

We're very fortunate that Bell brought this circuit to Pensacola. We have horse shows like this all over the country, but the closest one we travel to is about seven hours away in Ocala. There's quite extensive travel to get to shows like this. It's so convenient to have it here in the local area.
