FameRank: 4

"Joseph Roth", born "Moses Joseph Roth", was an Austrian-Jewish journalist and novelist, best known for his family saga Radetzky March (novel)/Radetzky March (1932), which is about the decline and fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and for his novel of Jewish life, Job (1930), as well as his seminal essay "Juden auf Wanderschaft" (1927; translated into English in The Wandering Jews), a fragmented account of the Jewish migrations from eastern to western Europe in the aftermath of World War I and the Russian Revolution. In the 21st century, publications in English of Radetzky March and of collections of his journalism from Berlin and Paris created a revival of interest in Roth.

Opening stores is something we do very well and we are continuing to work with local organizations to not only handle those issues but also to help other area business to take advantage of our traffic.

In North America, we only plan on opening four to five stores a year, while other chains look to open that many in one metro area in a year.

We hope to be fully enclosed by winter and cannot wait to open Ikea Canton.

You do a little, we do a little, we all save a lot.

We go where the location works for our customers and our store operations. We were not lured. We go where the location is attractive. If we wanted to go to places where things were free, we would be somewhere else. . . . If we can secure some assistance from a local municipality, we are always welcome to it, but it does not determine where within the market we go.

Most of Northwest Indiana technically is within the Chicago media market.

We need an area with a population of at least 2 million people to support one store. For many years, we were looking for a second Chicago-area location, and we're thrilled with the opportunity in Bolingbrook.

We have everything for the home under one roof. We intend our stores to sell only our products. That contributes to our uniqueness.
