I think Fairbanks' frustration set off the fights. Now we get to rest a couple of days before preparing for Texas. We've played a lot of games and need a break.
Fairbanks just lost two overtime games to Texas. Fairbanks is always good. They're an extremely hard working team and they've got two outstanding goaltenders.
Our division is very strong, and we've got a target on us. We used to be the hunters, and now we're the hunted.
I am almost positive that he [the clerk] assured us that Social Security numbers would not be posted. They said we'll take care of it before we put it online.
As soon as I heard about what happened to Zephyr, that whole battle came back to me.
One reason we've been so successful is that we have such a deep team. We get everybody involved and we have somebody different come through nearly every night. We've got a very well-rounded team.
Riley really played well. We did what we had to do to win. There were times when we let our guard down, but Riley kept us in it.
We've got good leadership and chemistry on this team. That's something our team lacked the first two years. There's still a couple of pieces of the puzzle needed to push us across the top. Rome wasn't built overnight, but I truly believe we can pull this thing off tonight.
We're on a pretty good run and today we ran into a desperate team. Maybe they deserved a better fate. Our guys just did what it took to win.
