While the fires are less likely to be running strongly, we're still going to need a lot of firefighting work done.
That sort of wind behavior is going to lead to erratic fire behavior and that will certainly cause crews some concerns because it makes it very difficult to plan where the fire is going to run to.
The overnight rain will be absorbed by the dry ground and lessen the intensity of the active fire, but is not enough to extinguish the fires.
But you want to do it right.
It's always buyer beware and look and see what values are being offered today. There's no doubt the sales will continue but whether you'll get what you want or close to what you want is a question mark.
It's certainly going to be scary as the fire works its way up (the mountains).
Maintaining strong fiscal performance combined with balanced investments provides a catalyst for the private sector to continue to grow.
There's certainly no opportunity for complacency. The work is still ahead of us in terms of the overall firefighting effort.
It has quietened down a fair bit with this rain, but it is still not over yet.
