We'll in essence lose a little bit of tax revenue, but the housing and buildings will be improved.
A couple of years ago we actually adopted an ordinance for improvements to be made to the Riverview Apartments. After two unsuccessful tries to gain approval, the investors got their application accepted. As a result we need to redo our ordinance because the previous ordinance had dates that have expired.
We will be advertising that vacancy and filling her unexpired term in February.

Because of the Administrative Consent Order against the city, the low local share for an engineering grant and the low interest rate for construction, the city should pursue these funds.
