The top eight states on our list are Minnesota, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Indiana, Virginia, Alabama, and Utah.

If they (the pledgers) all live up to their promises, we'll have more than enough money to cover the remaining bills. But the event happened in July and here it is September. This is not good.

I think you'll see a lot of action in some of those states by this fall or next winter, ... But, in a couple of those states, this fall's governors races are going to be important on the issue.

It will give us a chance to meet these people, exchange e-mails and phone numbers and get some one-on-one time.

We have no money, so the committee will have to go out and raise it, period.

We agreed to be a pass-through organization, which we've done before for other events.
