Force owns and drives for John Force Racing. He is one of the most dominant drag racers in the sport with 134 career victories. He graduated from Bell Gardens High School and briefly attended Cerritos Junior College to play American football/football. He is the father of drag racers Ashley Force Hood, Brittany Force, and Courtney Force. His oldest daughter Adria Hight is the CFO of John Force Racing [JFR].

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but there are a lot of good race cars out here, ... This is the best field (of Funny Cars) I've ever seen and that goes back to the days of 'Snake' and 'Mongoose,' Bernstein and the 'Blue Max' (references to Don Prudhomme, Tom McEwen, Kenny Bernstein and the car driven by three-time champion Raymond Beadle). I raced against all of them and I got spanked regular.
I'm here to tell them that anybody can be beat, but it ain't over till I say it's over. There's a lot of racing left and we expect to be right in the middle of it.
