We struggled in the first half of the season. The complaint about the SCIL Festival is that the same teams just play each other again but it keeps all the teams motivated. At the end of the year you can still upset a team that beat you twice.

We were very keen to get a big Kiwi . . . they are like gold as there are so few genuine big guys in the local scene. For Blake to now have citizenship makes him an even bigger asset.
