We are looking forward to a good week of practice, going over some things and getting ready for Jericho. That's where our entire focus is right now.

It took us some time to get our rhythm going. Both teams seemed nervous, playing in front of 2,000 screaming fans and knowing the county championship was on the line. But, we eventually settled down enough to win.

Turnovers played a role in all of our losses this year. They're going to happen, but we have to keep working to eliminate as many of them as possible.

We couldn't stop him. You can't teach height. We tried to push him back. We just couldn't do it.

The support we received from the school and community was awesome.

It would have been nice to win the game, just like it is to win any game, but what's really important is our game with Jericho. That gets us up to the state tournament. That's where we want to be.

Yes, there certainly was pressure, but there was also still a game to be played and we had confidence knowing we have been in this position before.

We had a little trouble with their big kid, so we overcompensated and sent too many guys down low, which gave them some open looks. We made an adjustment in the second half, stayed home and pressured the ball.

Sure it stings to lose the game. But, nothing will ever take away our county championship. We all can look back years from now and feel good about it. We accomplished the goal we set for ourselves last fall and that will always be something special and will always connect us.
