This meet really was an outstanding end to an outstanding season, and it was great to see the girls performing well at the state level.

We were right with them the entire meet. With 44 as a winning score, it was a really close, and even individual races often came down to the last couple of steps.

Our goal this year will be not to have any holes in any of the events, and with the steady guidance of the seniors and frequent contributions from the many underclassmen, hopefully all the pieces will fit into place.

Although our point total was down from last year our performances were up. Almost everyone ran better than projected and it was a solid performance by everyone.

Everyone did very well. The Belmont team did a lot better than I'd anticipated, so we had to be good to beat them, and we were.

It was a frustrating day because we had such good performances, but just enough things went wrong to really hurt us.

The girls all performed very well. Both teams were very competitive throughout the meet, but Woburn managed to finish just ahead of us in many of the close events.

Even though we've been at practice for two weeks already, the time has gone by fast, and we're still looking to find an event for everybody and trying to get them ready for the first meet.
