We hit the ball really well. We know what we are up against to make a playoff spot. We came out ready to go.

This is St. Mary's first year of having a program in five years. They are a very young team. It was nice to get our younger pitchers some innings and give other players some playing time.

We won the game on a squeeze play. It was nice to have everybody play and get some playing time.

We have to decide who the leaders on the team are, whether they're 15 or 17 years old. We are very inconsistent mentally, and if we don't find that leadership or get focused very soon, this will continue.

They never quit. With the weather being the way it's been ... I'm tickled with the way we've played in the two games we've gotten out there.
