It has been a fantastic year. It is always fun to win, but to win with a group like these kids makes it special. They play the game the right way. They proved you can win and win with class. To me, that is what it is all about.

He's going to have a smile on his face and have a bundle of energy whether he's 5-for-5 or 0-for-5 as long as we win the game.

I think the biggest thing his freshman year was the maturity. He played with a lot of energy and didn't always know what to do with that. He had to figure out how to play the game without getting himself in trouble.

We're just finding ways to win. One game we'll play real well defensively, and then in that second game (Monday) we made five errors and still found a way to win the game.

I think he's the anchor of our defense, not only with his ability to make plays, but with his leadership. I really believe guys look to him for advice, and he gets to balls in the outfield that other kids wouldn't have a chance of getting to.

He's one of the best leaders we've ever had, as well as a kid that loves to play the game and plays the game as hard as anyone we've ever had. From my perspective, Adam is not a ?me' guy. He's all about us.

Nothing is easy with these guys, (but) they always find a way to win.
