It's disappointing, but I'm not going to let it get me down.

It's good to get out of a situation where you pitch a good game and the guys ask, 'Did you miss Barry today? Life goes on without that guy coming to the park. The last five months, we saw him about 20 days. It's tough to answer questions about someone you don't know anything about unless you go on his Web site.

I was basically trying to get a feel for my pitches. I hadn't pitched to hitters since Oct. 1. It's been a while.

My numbers haven't been that great this year against left-handers. I've been inconsistent. Maybe that was the deciding factor.

I have a lot of respect for Barry. I'm glad he's back in uniform. I wish something like that wouldn't come up because it distracts from what they're doing. They should be looking at the positive - with him being in uniform - and making a little run.

I think all of us are starting to adjust to the fact Armando's gone. Tyler is doing the job well. It's hard for us because nobody has specific roles, so it's about making adjustments.

I don't think attitudes of ballplayers have changed over the years.

I'm not commenting until I see what's written.

I have a lot of respect for Barry and what he does. I wish something like this didn't come up.
